The movie 'The Bucket List' is originally a heartwarming film laced with comedy throughout it about two terminally ill men that become friends and that go on a road trip to finish a wish list they had created to do before their early death. In this spoof of 'The Bucket List' trailer, the movie is transformed into a thriller suspense movie, in which the trailer plot displays two men that will soon meeting death chase after an unseen person who claims to have the answer to 'an ever-lasting life' before the other.
To achieve the mood from a sad heartfelt movie to a thriller suspense music played a very important part in creating the feeling. The beginning is starts with a soft uplifting with a melancholic undertone with a voice layered over top the low music, to give a brief idea to the audience what a protagonist has to lose and his predicament with death to make the audience to have the feeling of sympathy at last the a mysterious pops up during the phone scene to make it look like a voice is coming from the phone giving the protagonist an unbelievable answer to his problems. But with this answer it shows a man that is suggested to be in the same predicament, having process what has currently happening in this vague story line it can a brief sense of suspense, it is here the scene fades away to black and the melancholic music fades away soon after leaving the audience in the darkness of suspense. In second the music reappears with a intense feeling, instantly contrasting the soft almost quite soothing music heard seconds before with the loudness and quick work of the violin and dramatic build up along with the flashes of scenes of action contained in a few seconds to rile up the audience with the short seconds of actions with could possibly also give the additional effect of confusing and intriguing the audience with the flashes of adventure and adrenaline rush from the music playing in the back. With the pump of adrenaline in the audience and the intensive music dies down and the silence overcomes the scene as it slowly fades away with an unknown figure tracking through the snowy mountains the disembodied reappears as the title appears on screen saying the coined mysterious line of the trailer leaving the audience on a suspenseful cliffhanger.
